Gift Card Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to use of all Bubble CiTea Gift Cards.
In these Terms and Conditions: "Bubble CiTea", "we" or "us" refers to Bubble CiTea Limited a company incorporated in England with company number 12055095 whose registered office is at 131 Queen Street, Portsmouth, PO1 3HY. "you" refers to the purchaser and/or user of the Bubble CiTea Gift Card.
Purchase and/or use of a Bubble CiTea Gift Card will constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using your Bubble CiTea Gift Card. If there is anything you do not understand, please contact us.
We recommend that you keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference. These Terms and Conditions are only available in English.
Bubble CiTea Gift Cards remain the property of Bubble CiTea Limited.
Using your Bubble CiTea Gift Card
You may use your Bubble CiTea Gift Card to purchase eligible items at any Bubble CiTea shop in the UK excluding Northern Ireland. Bubble CiTea Gift Cards are not able to be redeemed on Bubble CiTea online shop. When you use your Bubble CiTea Gift Card the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. The remaining balance may be applied to future purchases. Change will not be given. If your purchase exceeds the balance on the Bubble CiTea Gift Card you must pay the excess by another payment method.
You may check the balance on your Bubble CiTea Gift Card at any Bubble CiTea shop or contact Customer Services at info@bubblecitea.com. You can top up the balance on your Bubble CiTea Gift Card, also you may transfer any outstanding balance to a new Bubble CiTea Gift Card by contacting Customer Services at info@bubblecitea.com. Bubble CiTea Gift card balances cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers or additional gift cards. You may not exchange or redeem your Bubble CiTea Gift Card for cash. No change or refunds will be given where the sales transaction is for an amount less than the balance on the Bubble CiTea Gift Card.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept damaged Bubble CiTea Gift Cards or any Bubble CiTea Gift Card which we believe has been stolen, duplicated, tampered with or is being used fraudulently or is otherwise suspected to be affected by fraud.
Only one Bubble CiTea Gift Card can be redeemed against a single order.
The maximum value of Bubble CiTea Gift Cards that can be purchased at any one time is £20 and can be top-up later at any one time is £100.
Expiration and Cancellation
Your Bubble CiTea Gift Card and the balance on it will expire if the card is not used to make a purchase for 12 consecutive months. We reserve the right to cancel your Bubble CiTea Gift Card if we suspect it has been stolen, is being used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Loss, Theft, Damage
You should take care of your Bubble CiTea Gift Card and treat it like cash. Bubble CiTea is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. You should immediately report any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of your Bubble CiTea Gift Card to Customer Services at info@bubblecitea.com If you lose your Bubble CiTea Gift Card or it is stolen or damaged we may, at our sole discretion, issue a replacement Bubble CiTea Gift Card credited with the unused balance from your lost/stolen/damaged card. We will require your Bubble CiTea Gift Card number and proof of purchase before we can consider any request to replace your Bubble CiTea Gift Card. If you subsequently find or retrieve a Bubble CiTea Gift Card which you have reported lost or stolen, you must notify Customer Services immediately.
Bubble CiTea Rewards Cards
Bubble CiTea Gift Cards can be used as Bubble CiTea Rewards Cards. Purchases made with Bubble CiTea Gift Cards in any Bubble CiTea stores will be eligible to earn Bubble CiTea rewards points. Please ensure to show your Bubble CiTea Gift Card to our staff when you make your purchase. You cannot use Bubble CiTea rewards points to purchase Bubble CiTea Gift Cards. You cannot earn Bubble CiTea rewards points when you purchase a Bubble CiTea Gift Card. For further details please refer to https://bubblecitea.com/pages/rewards.
Resale/Use in Promotions
You may only use your Bubble CiTea Gift Card for your personal non-commercial use. You may not sell your Bubble CiTea Gift Card. Bubble CiTea Gift Cards may not be used in sales or promotional activities including as giveaways or prizes in competitions without the prior consent of Bubble CiTea. Bubble CiTea reserves the right to cancel any Bubble CiTea Gift Card that it suspects has been resold or obtained in connection with an unauthorised sales or promotional activity.
Data Protection and Privacy
You may be asked to provide certain personal information, including your name, address and contact details. You agree that the information you provide to us will be true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. You also agree to notify us of any changes in this information. We are committed to maintaining the security of your personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. All personal information you provide to us will be used in accordance with our Privacy policy.
Liability of Bubble CiTea
Bubble CiTea shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of a Bubble CiTea Gift Card where such loss or damage arises from any cause beyond our reasonable control. If we fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions for a reason within our reasonable control, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us at the time we entered these Terms and Conditions. Where any loss or damage arises from a cause within our control, our liability to you shall not exceed a sum equal to the balance on your Bubble CiTea Gift Card as at the date that such loss or damage occurs. This clause shall not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Termination / Variation
We reserve the right to amend or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time or to terminate the Bubble CiTea Gift Card service on reasonable notice. The Terms and Conditions applicable to the use of a Bubble CiTea Gift Card shall at any time be the terms and conditions published on the Site and/or www.bubblecitea.comand your continued use of a Bubble CiTea Gift Card shall constitute your acceptance of such terms and conditions.
General
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement and understanding between us and you with respect to your use of the Bubble CiTea Gift Cards.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Any failure or delay by us in enforcing (in whole or in part) any provision of these Terms and Conditions will not be interpreted as a waiver of our rights or remedies.
We may transfer the benefit of these Terms and Conditions to any other company in the same group of companies as Bubble CiTea. If we assign the benefit of these Terms and Conditions, your rights will not be affected.
Bubble CiTea reserves the right to add to or waive these Terms and Conditions on reasonable notice for legal, security or regulatory reasons or to discontinue the Bubble CiTea Gift Card scheme at any time in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Customers will be notified in advance via in-store displays in the event of any such change.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. These Terms and Conditions are only available in English. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If you live in Scotland you will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of Scottish law and can bring legal proceedings in respect of the Prize Draw and these terms and conditions in either the Scottish or the English courts.

Additional Terms and Conditions which apply to Bubble CiTea Gift Cards purchased online
In addition to paragraphs 1-12 of these Terms and Conditions, this paragraph 13 also applies to purchase of Bubble CiTea Gift Cards through Bubble CiTea online shop (“Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards”).
a) Sales of Gift Cards through our online shop are managed and fulfilled directly by Bubble CiTea. The maximum value of Bubble CiTea Gift Cards that can be purchased in any one order is £20, and the maximum amount that can be top-up later at any one time is £100.
b) Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards ordered through the Site shall be:
i) in the case of physical Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards (“Physical Gift Cards”), be sent the delivery address(es) stated on each individual order. Deliveries are normally dispatched within seven to eight working days unless a specified delivery date is requested. Where possible Bubble CiTea will try to meet all delivery requirements but shall not be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses; or
It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery physical address entered is correct Bubble CiTea cannot be responsible for the incorrect delivery of Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards due to an error by you (such as, a mis-typed physical address).
c) In the case of Physical Gift Cards, risk will pass to you upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Bubble CiTea can not be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Physical Bubble CiTea Gift Cards following delivery to the recipient. Bubble CiTea is not responsible for funds on the card used without your knowledge.
d) Online Bubble CiTea Gift Card quantities should be checked immediately by the recipient upon receipt (it is the purchaser’s obligation to ensure this is done if the recipient is different to the purchaser). Any discrepancies must be notified immediately (it is the purchaser’s obligation to ensure this is done). Bubble CiTea cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards not notified to Bubble CiTea within three days of delivery.
e) Cleared payment is required prior to the dispatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase. Bubble CiTea reserves the right to decline any order without providing an explanation. Bubble CiTea will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
f) Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards are only available for purchase in pounds sterling using a credit or debit card.
g) The re-sale of Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards is strictly prohibited.
h) Bubble CiTea cannot be held responsible for Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards that cannot be delivered due to the mis-typed delivery address or missed the delivery date/time, any other factors outside of Bubble CiTea’s reasonable control.
i) Bubble CiTea Gift Cards are exempt from Bubble CiTea’s refund policy except for Online Bubble CiTea Gift Cards. The purchaser of the Online Gift Card has the right to cancel the Online Bubble CiTea Gift Card within 14 working days of receipt provided the Online Bubble CiTea Gift Card has not been used. In case of cancellation, Bubble CiTea will endeavour to refund the amount of the gift card to the original payment method used during ordering within 30 days of cancellation.
The purchaser of the Online Gift Card must inform us of its intention to cancel the purchase within 14 days of the date the Online Gift Card is received we recommend this is done by either emailing Bubble CiTea at info@bubblecitea.com or telephoning Bubble CiTea on 02393552883.
Please include a clear statement of the wish to cancel the purchase, provide evidence of proof of purchase, details of name, address, details of the order to cancel and, where provided to Bubble CiTea as part of an order, the purchaser’s phone number and email address.
